FILIPINA MMA star Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga has officially relinquished her ONE Women’s Atomweight World Championship title after giving birth to her first child with husband, fellow MMA fighter Fritz Biagtan.
According to reports, the 29-year-old Zamboanga chose to relinquish the title to make way for a new chapter in her life as a mother, while continuing to focus on her family and her mixed martial arts career.
With her departure as champion, Zamboanga is recognized as one of the most successful Filipina fighters in ONE Championship, having captured the world title in 2025 before finally deciding to relinquish the belt in 2026.
She will remain active in MMA, but does not currently hold any titles as she prioritizes her new responsibilities as a parent.
Zamboanga became a champion when atomweight champion Stamp Fartex announced in May 2025 that Stamp withdrew due to a setback in her recovery from knee surgery.
Stamp agreed to relinquish her atomweight MMA title and Zamboanga was subsequently promoted to undisputed champion.
Zamboanga was then scheduled to face Ayaka Miura on November 16, 2025. However, she withdrew from the bout due to a medical issue.
