THREE division world champion John Riel “Quadro Alas” Casimero stopped Luis Nery of Mexico in the 4th round by a technical knockout today, June 6 at the Aichi, Tokoname in Aichi Sky Expo, Nagoya.

The 37-year-old Casimero hit Nery with a right straight followed by a left cross to down the Mexican.

Casimero started carefully as he worked on Nery’s body with right-and-left punches.

Nery was even allowed by Casimero to still fight despite being overweight.

Meanwhile, Kenneth “The Lover Boy” Llover and Vince "Kamikazee" Paras both suffered separate losses by a unanimous decision early today.

The 23-year-old Llover [17-1-0. 12KOs] tasted his first setback of career to undefeated American Michael Angeletti [15-0-0, 8KOs].

Angeletti will now be the mandatory challenger of International Boxing Federation bantamweight champion Jose Salas Reyes of Mexico.

Paras, 27, on the other hand, also bowed to unbeaten Aoi Yokoyama [5-0-0, 1KO] in an 8-round bout.

He has now 5 losses against 25 wins and one draw.
