Former Argentine world champion Sergio "Maravilla" Martínez (57-3-2, 32 KOs), 51, defeated his compatriot Nicolás "El Picante" Ryske, 39, by unanimous decision in six rounds at the "Noche de Leyendas" (Night of Legends) event held in Buenos Aires at the Malvinas Argentinas Arena, home of the renowned Argentinos Juniors soccer team.
Both fighters exchanged good blows throughout the six remaining rounds, but Martínez was more precise and landed more punches, especially to his opponent's head, securing a unanimous decision with scores of 60-54, 60-54, and 60-54.
At 51, many believe this was Martínez's final fight.
Ryske is a former multiple world champion in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and K-1 with a professional career spanning nearly 11 years.
