Antimaro, Jimenez to fight in Japan on June 7

ARIEL "AAA" Antimaro of Davao City and John Kevin Jimenez of Cebu City will both fight on June 7 in separate venues in Japan.

The 23-year-old Antimaro [9-3-1, 3KOs] will clash with Juiki Tatsuyoshi [16-1-1, 10KOs] of Osaka at the EDION Arena in Osaka.

Antimaro, who is handled by coach-trainer Nonoy Neri, recently stopped Kim Lindog of Bukidnon in the 3rd round last February 9 in Kidapawan City.

Taysuyoshi, 28, lost in his last fight against Kzuki Nakajima by a 2nd round technical knockout last December 12, 2024 at Korakuen Hall.

Jimenez, on the other hand, will trade punches with undefeated Ryusei Matsumoto of Tokyo at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

The 20-year-old Jimenez recently won the WBF Asia Pacific minimumweight title after a 2nd round TKO over Eisol Akbar of Indonesia last May 9 in Bogo City.

Matsumoto, 27, retained his Japan Boxing Commission Japanese minimumweight title by a 4th round knockout over Masatora Okada last February 1 at Korakuen Hall.
