Apolinario to fight Hu in Japan

DAVE “Dobermann” Apolinario of General Santos City will face Longyi Hu of China on April 22 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The 26-year-old Apolinario arrived in Japan with manager Mike Pelayo, trainer Jr. Edurot and promoter JC Manangquil.

Apolinario [21-1-0, 14KOs] recently beat Jeny Boy Boca of Bukidnon by a unanimous decision last December 18, 2024 at Bula Gym in General Santos City.

Hu [8-2-2, 4KOs], on the other hand, last retired Orkhontungalag Unubold last October 12, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea.

Meanwhile, Kai Watanabe will face Ryusei Ishii for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight title in the main event.
