Katsunari Takayama Claims Vacant IBO World Minimumweight Title with Victory Over Kha Lu

General Santos City, Philippines– Japanese legend and four-time world champion Katsunari Takayama (34-9) triumphed over unbeaten Australian Kha Lu to win the vacant IBO World Minimumweight title at a Sanman Boxing event on December 18 at the Bula Gymnasium. Takayama dominated the fight with relentless volume punching and pressure from the first round through to the twelfth.

In undercard action, former two-time interim world champion Reymart Gaballo stopped James Pagaling in the third round, sending him to the canvas twice during the bout.
