T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas - In the first match of the televised Prime card on the undercard of the Canelo-Munguia super middleweight undisputed fight, WBA welterweight champion Eimantas Stanionis (15-0, 9KOs) of Lithuania successfully defended his title by outpointing Gabriel Maestre (6-1-1, 5KOs) of Venezuela over 12 rounds with a unanimous decision victory. The victory made Stanionis in position for a big payday against fellow IBF champion Jaron "Boots" Ennis or any other top name in the 147lbs division who wants his WBA belt. Judges scores were 117-111, 118-110, 119-109.
