LIGHT flyweight Jayson “Smasher” Mama of General Santos City outpointed former world title challenger Robert “Inggo” Paradero of Bukidnon for a unanimous decision win yesterday, June 6, in T’boli, South Cotabato.
"It's very nice ‘coz I was challenged against a strong fighter,” said the 26-year-old Mama.
Mama improved his record to 19 wins with 10 knockouts and one loss while Paradero, 26, suffered his fifth setback against 18 wins and one draw.
Mama said that he still does not know what’s his next fight.
Meanwhile, former Philippine welterweight champion Adam Diu Abdulhamid of Gensan won against Jose Ocampo by an 8th round unanimous decision.
The boxing event was promoted by the Sanman Boxing Promotion.
