Jhun Rick Carcedo fights on Peter Maniatis Kings of Kombat boxing card on April 22 Melbourne

The Philippines' nationally rated #4 boxer super lightweight Jhunrick “Iron Fist” Carcedo (9 wins 1 loss) fights on April 22 in Melbourne, Australia against undefeated Uzbekistan southpaw boxer Jakhongir Rasulov.

The bout for Jhun Rick Carcedo is on a Peter Maniatis & Kings of Kombat event promotion sponsored and co-promoted by Ultratune Auto Service centres in Australia Mr Sean Buckley & Mr Hisham Hanna and supervisor Justin Kennedy and will take place at St Kilda Arena in Melbourne.

Rasulov has a record four wins and no losses and his fight with Carcedo is scheduled for eight rounds at the super lightweight limit of 140 pounds.

"The contract has been signed and confirmed," said Australian Hall of Famer Peter Maniatis. "It will be an all action fight. Carcedo's Australian visa has already been approved. We are waiting on Rasulov's visa approval now," added Maniatis.

Jhunrick Carcedo's team at Sanman Boxing have done there home work on a game plan to beat the Uzbekistan boxer Rasulov who is said to be a counter puncher but Carcedo will be ready.

“The winner of Carcedo vs Rasulov fight on April 22 will go on to fight for a regional international title so this fight promises to be top quality and the winner will get his reward,“ Maniatis said.

"The other concept in the pipework we have been talking about is the Elorde Cup Philippines vs Australia which will consist of five matched ups," added Maniatis who is working with Filipino promoter Gabriel 'Bebot' Elorde for the project.

Maniatis will be at the Elorde Awards on March 25.
