ORTHODOX Romshane “Hammer” Sarguilla of Midsayap stopped Reymark "Machine Gun” Taday of Cotabato in the 7th round to win the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation super flyweight title last February 28 at the Pres. Roxas in North Cotabato.
The 28-year-old Sarguilla won by technical knockout at two minutes and 27 seconds. He improved his record to eight wins against seven losses with two draws.
Meanwhile, Jeronil “Chocolatito” Borres beat Jovanie Tagusi by unanimous decision while undefeated Mark “Mighty” Antonio halted Mark Glen Antaran in the 1st round.
Former PBF flyweight champion Michael “The Chieftain” Bravo scored a TKO win in the 4th round at 1:58 against Ernesto Camigiung.
