Jade Bornea (10-0,7KO?s) of Gen.Santos City and Danrick Sumabong (5-0,4KO?s) of Bohol will risk their unbeaten records when they battle for the vacant WBO Oriental Youth superflyweight title Saturday April 28 in Glan, Saranggani Province.
Bornea, a former member of the Philippine amateur boxing team, won the vacant IBF Youth superflyweight title last year by unanimous decision against Raul Yu of the ALA Gym in a fight held in Gen.Santos City. He defended it once by TKO against Thai Samuthra Sitharan in Polomolok.
As an amateur, Bornea got a bronze in the 2012 AIBA World Youth championships and golds in Asian Youth tournaments. Sumabong will be fighting for a belt for the first time in his career.
Both weighed in at the division limit 115lbs during the official weigh-in held Friday.

Promoter Jim Claude Manangquil, CEO of the General Santos City-based Sanman Promotions, informed philboxing of the weights.
Also set to see action is Sanman Gym boxer Harmonito dela Torre, who is looking to bounce back after losing to Mongolian Olympian Tugstsogt Nyambayar in Las Vegas last year. Dela Torre sports a 19W-1L-0D, 12KOs record, while opponent Jovany Rota has nine wins (6KOs) and 13 losses. They will serve as the main undercard bout.
Former ALA Gym boxer Mark Bernaldez (15W-1L-0D, 10KOs) will try to shake off the cobwebs of his layoff when he fights JP Macadumpis (11W-11L-1D, 5KOs) in a six rounder.

Completing the card are Ernie Sanchez (17W-11L-1D, 8KOs) vs Noel Adelmita (13W-12L-2D, 2KOs), Ken Jordan (6W-1L-1D, 5KOs) vs. Wiljan Ugbaniel (13W-7L-1D, 4KOs),Japan?s Motoki Osanai vs Alvin Bais, Jayson Francisco vs Rocky Sardido and the card?s opening bout will be Regie Mananquil against Roger Salaton in a four-round lightflyweight duel.
