About Regie Suganob

Regie “Filipino Phenom” Suganob (born November 24, 1997 in Dauis, Bohol) is a Filipino light flyweight contender. Turning pro in 2018, he built an unbeaten streak with wins over John Paul Gabunilas, Jake Amparo, and Andika D’Golden Boy before defeating Mark Vicelles in a 2023 IBF title eliminator. Later that year, he challenged IBF champion Sivenathi Nontshinga in South Africa, losing by unanimous decision. Suganob rebounded by claiming the WBO Global light flyweight title against Ronald Chacon and defended it with a dramatic stoppage of Kai Ishizawa in 2024. Continuing his rise, he scored notable victories over Nanthanon Thongchai, Mchanja Yohana, and Siphamandla Baleni between 2024–2026. As of February 2026, his professional record stands at 19 fights, 18 wins (7 by KO), and 1 loss, cementing his status as one of Bohol’s brightest boxing talents.
