Gerry “Fearless” Peñalosa

Geronimo “Gerry” Peñalosa (born August 7, 1972) is a Filipino former professional boxer, trainer, and promoter. Competing from 1989 to 2010, he became a two‑division world champion, holding the WBC super‑flyweight title from 1997 to 1998 and the WBO bantamweight title from 2007 to 2009. A southpaw known for his defensive skills and counterpunching, Peñalosa captured the super‑flyweight crown by defeating Hiroshi Kawashima and later added the bantamweight title with a knockout of Jhonny González. He retired with a record of 65 fights, 55 wins, 37 by knockout, 8 losses, and 2 draws. Trained by Freddie Roach, Peñalosa transitioned into promotion and training after his career, continuing the family legacy alongside his brother Dodie Boy Peñalosa.
